After three long years, it appears that the light at the end of the tunnel is near, or at least we have a time frame. It has been frustrating experience for our potential Group Health patients . . . as well as for us.
But recently we had a breakthrough with an individual who was willing to find out what the problem was. It came down to a one page document, which we had faxed to them in June of 2013 and again on Dec 11th, 2013. Apparently it got lost. Because it was lost, they could not finally approve Dr. Moren and thus the entire practice could not be listed in their network.
For the sake of those patients who were waiting to see us, we scrambled and had that document to them by the next day. The following day (last Thursday) they met and finally approved our practice. The next step is this coming week their lawyers will finalize our contract and it should be to us with two weeks. They believe, at this time, that we will be set to see patients the first or second week of February.
To make sure there is no confusion on the Group Health end, please ask Group Health for authorization to see us the first week of February and it should be approved. If not, wait a week and try again.
I’m more sorry than you can imagine that it has taken three years and I thank you for your patience. We worked very, very hard to make this come about. Now, the light at the end of the tunnel is near.
